Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic “Happiest Day of My Life”.
There are several days where I had been extremely happy but one particular day that stands out is the day my mother and father got a puppy for me as a birthday gift.
At that time, I was 8 years old and was extremely scared of dogs. I was afraid that they would bite me with their sharp teeth and would take to my heels whenever I was within a mile radius of a dog!
Naturally, I was upset and cross with my parents that day. However, when they set the pup down, one look at its eyes and all my fears melted. I tentatively took her in my arms and cradled her as she… snuggled in my arms! To this day, that remains the happiest moment in my life.
Since that moment, Penny, my Labrador, still makes me happy every day.
