A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of motivation.
Google defines the term motivation to be “a reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way.‘
This definition is rather inadequate. Motivation is not just to reason to act in a certain way but the driving force behind it. Without motivation, it would be impossible to attain individual aspirations.
Motivation thus also becomes a sort of desire – and willingness- to achieve our goals. It helps us to never give up and doggedly go behind what we want most. It makes it possible for us to work hard and not be deterred by failures and regrets. Motivation thus makes us get past obstacles and hurdles and gives us the power to succeed in life.
Here is a motivational quote by John Steinbeck for you: “And now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good.”
