Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘Grandparents’.
Google defines the term ‘grandparent’ to be “a parent of one’s father or mother; a grandmother or grandfather.”
Grandparents are often referred to as treasures that are cherished by the family. Indeed, they are the ones who shower us with unconditional love, love that sometimes even rivals our parents’ love!
Be it chocolate, books, or toys, grandparents buy them for us without hesitation. With grandmothers cooking us tasty and healthy food and reading us interesting and funny moral tales aloud with our grandfathers, grandparents take it upon themselves to keep us happy. Prioritizing our joy over everything else, then even help save us from the wrath of our parents over our mischief at times!
Yet, sometimes, we intentionally or unintentionally hurt our grandparents, either through words or actions. Sometimes, even our parents do. Let us refrain from this, not neglect them and care for them!
