Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Cyber Crime.
The modern world is a digital one. We are currently living in an age of science and technology where almost every aspect of our lives has been digitalised. A negative consequence of such developments is the rise of cyber crime.
Cyber crimes are crimes committed digitally, especially through the use of the internet and social media platforms. They include a wide range of crimes, from fraud and embezzlement to sexual harassment and bullying. Hiding behind the mask of anonymity on the internet, these criminals continue to do evil deeds through cyber crimes.
To combat these heinous cyber crimes, almost all police stations now have cyber crime departments. We too must raise awareness about this very serious and pressing issue.
