A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a small speech on the topic ‘Compassion’.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted”.
What is compassion? Compassion, in layman’s terms, refers to empathy and understanding toward the sufferings of others. Simply put, is to act humane toward others in the face of their misery. Some kindness for those less fortunate is all compassion is about thus.
Compassion is a noble human virtue. Everyone should be compassionate, and willing to help others. We should never remain impassionate towards those who seek help.
“Compassion is to look beyond your own pain and look for the pain in others’.
Be aware of the sufferings of others. Do be of support to them, if not anything, at least mentally or emotionally. Develop and nurture compassion, the natural instinct that is very much present in everyone.
