A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will give a speech on ‘Children’s Day in Sri Lanka’.
Sri Lanka’s Children’s Day is celebrated on the 1st of October every year. This day is annually commemorated to cherish children and their welfare. Their well-being and the need to protect their rights holds predominance on this day.
Fun activities for children and games are conducted on this day in Sri Lanka. Events to increase awareness about the rights of children and their protection are also held.
