Good morning to everyone, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, the teachers, and my friends for letting me tell you about capital punishment. Execution is the form of capital punishment used by the state to bring about justice for crimes committed.
The death penalty can be administered in several ways, including through lethal injection, hanging, electrocution, gas chamber, and stoning. It is debatable; some argue that a lesser punishment, such as a prevention or reformative sentence, should be used instead of death, while others argue that doing so would be cruel and spiteful.
Although the death penalty does not directly address the problem of rising crime, it can be used to discourage crime and help future offenders rethink their ways. The Supreme Court, the President of India, and state governors are all possible places to appeal for mercy. Only in extremely exceptional circumstances, following a thorough investigation, should capital punishment be applied. Thank you.
