Good morning to everyone, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, the teachers, and my friends for letting me tell you about the blood. For life to exist, blood is one of the most vital elements. Any animal with a circulatory system almost always has blood. According to evolutionary theory, blood is said to have evolved from a specific sort of cell that was in charge of phagocytosis and feeding.
Blood and the circulatory system have significantly helped the evolution of increasingly sophisticated lifeforms throughout billions of years. Blood’s primary job is to carry oxygen and nutrients to the body’s numerous cells and tissues.
Blood is a viscous connective tissue made up of 45% formed components such as platelets, WBCs, and RBCs and 55% plasma. It distributes hormones and nutrients, gives oxygen to cells, and keeps the body’s homeostasis in check. Moreover, it facilitates blood clotting at the injury site, moves waste to the kidney, and purges poisons from the blood. Thank you.
