Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Acid Attack.
Acid attack is a form of violent assault where acid is thrown on the victim’s face and body. It has dangerous consequences, with the victim’s skin getting permanently disfigured. Acid attacks are mainly perpetuated by men against women who have thwarted their romantic advances. South Asia has the highest crime rate involving acid attacks.
Acid attack is a brutal crime that disfigures a person for life, and can sometimes even leave them crippled. It absolutely destroys the victim’s life and leaves them traumatised forever. Strict steps must be taken against these criminals and they must be severely punished. The victims must be provided with ample support and compensation.
To conclude, we must try our best to stop acid attacks! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
