Subject: My Beautiful Village
Dear Sally,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In your last letter you wanted me to tell you about the village I live in. I would be very glad to talk to you about it, since my village is a beautiful place that I greatly cherish.
My village is situated a few miles away from the nearest town. I live here with my parents and grandparents. Our family has been inhabiting this village for generations now. Our house is one of the oldest houses here, and was built many decades before the independence of India.
So, it has a long history that has been passed down to us. The village landscape is untouched by the evils of urbanisation, so it is surrounded by a lot of greenery and clean air. The village has rapidly developed in the last few decades, and now most villagers enjoy modern facilities such as the internet and electricity just like townspeople do.
Our village has a school with both primary and secondary sections in it, and this is where almost all of us received our education. Modern technology has brought many other benefits to the village as well, making agriculture and irrigation much easier and improving the lives of the village folk. Do tell me about the place you live in as well!
