Subject: My Visit to a Historical Place
Dear Sally,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In my last letter I told you that I would be visiting the Red Fort soon to attend a series of guided walks and light and sound shows organised by the authorities. I am very excited to inform you that it finally happened! So, today I want to tell you all about my visit to the historical Red Fort.
This was my first time travelling to Delhi, and I was very excited to visit India�s capital city. I had a wonderful experience on the overnight train ride to Delhi, and was also surprised by how friendly my co-passengers were. On my first evening in Delhi, I attended the light and sound show at the Red Fort which informed me all about its long and glorious history.
The next day I went on a guided walk of the majestic Red Fort, and our wonderful guide explained its architecture to us in great detail. I also went to the Qutb MInar, the India Gate and other attractions. It was a mind blowing experience to feel the history and heritage of Delhi firsthand. There were also more light and sound shows and guided walks I attended at the Red Fort on the following days. Going to the Red Fort was truly a dream come true!
