Subject: Half day leave for my wife’s illness

I hope you are doing well. The reason for my submission of a leave application is to let you know that my wife is not feeling well for a couple of days. My mother was here all this while to nurse my wife. Unfortunately, she has to visit my village for a day and cannot attend to my wife’s needs. I want to be there with her and assist her while she copes up with her health. I hope you understand my situation and consider approving my leave application. I thank you for the same.
