Subject – Application for leave for wife’s miscarriage
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for two weeks as my wife had a miscarriage. Owing to this she is not well enough to be at her workplace. Losing a child has been news of heartbreak to the family and more importantly, my presence is needed at this time of need for my wife and family, physically and emotionally. It is my request to you to sanction this leave. I will be back and resume my work and make up for the time lost.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
