Subject – Application for leave for wife’s miscarriage
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my wife was pregnant for three months, in the midst of the pregnancy she fell of the stairs and was severely injured resulting to her having a miscarriage. This is a very sad and emotional time for us especially because this was our first baby. I would like to spend time with my wife at this time of need to take care of her, be with her and heal together as a family.I would like to request a leave for a week i.e. 1st of August 2022 till the 7th of August 2022. I will return to the office on the 8th of August 2022 and resume my work. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my leave and make up for the lost time. I have requested Sir Jaden to look after the work while I’m on my leave.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain ever grateful to you.
