Subject: Leave Application for a sprained ankle
Respected Madam,
With deep regret and remorse, this is to bring to your kind attention that, unfortunately, I have faced an accident yesterday. While I was carrying a bucket of water I slipped and fell resulting in a sprained ankle. My neighbours took me to the hospital immediately and I was asked to be on complete bed rest for a week by the doctor at Aiden Hospital.
I would like to kindly request a leave for a week i.e. 1st of May 2023 till the 7th of May 2023. Thus I hereby request you to grant me a leave on the above dates so that I can take care of myself and be back to work in good health and in good spirit. I will complete my targets once I come back to the office.
Moreover, I assure you that I shall be present on 10th December, 2022 with no further delay. I have also requested Miss Mary to take my place during the time of my absence and she happily accepted to do so. I have also submitted the project given to us personally to the captain in charge, Sir Walling as well.
I will be grateful to you for accepting my leave application.
