Subject: Leave Application for Saraswati puja
Respected Madam,
Most humbly, this is to bring to your kind notice that I, Smita, Technical Head, would not be able to come to the office on 26th January, 2023 because of the Saraswati puja to which I am obliged to attend. This puja is celebrated by the Hindus in honor of the Hindu goddess Saraswati.
This is a very important event for me and my family and it has been the family tradition to attend this puja together. My grandparents living in Kashmir are also coming to attend this program. This puja will be held at Raj Vila at 10 am. Thus, I hereby request you to grant me a leave on the date mentioned above.
I will complete my target assigned for the days when I will be on leave from home. I assure you that I will join the office by the 27th of January 2023 with no delay and in good health. I have requested Miss Sharma to take over my duties on the day of my absence.
I will be obliged to you for accepting my leave application.
