Subject: Leave Application for Rice eating ceremony
Respected Madam,
Most humbly, I want request a leave for two days for my child’s rice eating ceremony which will be held on the 6th of June 2023. This is a very important event for the family. It is also called the annaprashanaI. It is a Hindu rite of passage that marks an infant’s first intake of food other than milk. I have to stay at home and make the preparations for the celebration in advance.
My child is the first child and therefore, we want to make this event into a grand ceremony. Thus, I, Anita, Assistant Director, hereby request you to accept my leave application as I shall not be able to come to work from 6th June2023 – 7th June, 2023. I have already completed the targets assigned for the days when I will be on leave. I assure you that I will be joining back from 8th October, 2022.
I will be really grateful to you for accepting my leave application and letting me weave memories with my family members.
