Subject – Application for the request of leave for my sister’s baby born
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for two weeks I.e. 1st of August 2022 till the 14th of August 2022 because of my sister who recently gave birth to a baby girl. We were advised by the doctor of Stefan hospital to stay in the hospital for a few more days because they want to keep a close check on the baby.
We are currently on a very tight schedule because my sister’s husband is out of station due to his mother not feeling well. Our parents who live in a different, state are on their way, however they will be arriving only after a few days. Concerning this, I would like to take two weeks off to take care of my sister.
I have requested Mr. Smith to do the required work for the one week that I will be missing on. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my leave and make up for the lost time. I will be back by the 15th of August 2022 with no delay.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
