Respected Sir
With humility, this is to bring to your kind notice that I won’t be able to come to work on 5th December, 2022 as I have to cast my vote for MCD elections. I feel that it is a duty of every citizen of India to participate in the decision making process through elections. It is a true test of democracy. People must enjoy the right to vote given to them and make potential use of the same. Thus I, Nikhil, Marketing Head, hereby request you to grant me a leave on the above mentioned date. I will complete the assigned targets from home so that the company doesn’t suffer any backlogs due to me. I assure you that I shall be present on 6th December, 2022.
I will be really obliged to you for accepting my leave application and allowing me to prioritise my duties towards the nation.
