Sub: Application for leave due to brother hospitalised
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my brother has been hospitalised at St. Peter Hospital, Manhattan because of stones in the stomach. My brother has been suffering from stomach pain for the past week and the pain grew worse in the past few days. So, we decided to take him for a check-up.
There were a lot of tests and scans done and the results came in that he had to undergo an operation because there were stones in his stomach. He also had been suffering from a Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) since last year and it led him to this. I would like to leave for a week i.e. 1st of February till the 7th of February 2022 to take care of my brother during such a time.
I am currently the only working member among my siblings, with the rest all studying. My parents are currently out of the station as well. Concerning this, I would like to take responsibility as the oldest to take care of my brother while he is in the hospital.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me leave for which I shall remain ever grateful.
