Dear friend,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. I am also doing well on this side. I am going to tell you about an interesting visit to my ancestral house.
During this winter vacation, I am visiting my grandparents in Dehradun. My father woke up absurdly early yesterday and asked me if I wanted to see a house that I will inherit. Obviously, I said yes. The house was huge but in a dilapidated condition. I stood there trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is our ancestral house.
My father is thinking of maintaining the house from now on. There were so many spiders in there that it will haunt me for the months to come. My grandfather, father and I went inside and explored it some further. It was an exciting experience. By the time we got back, my fear had turned to elation.
I can’t wait to meet and tell you more about the house. Until then, take care!
