I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. I am also doing well on this side. I am going to tell you about the story of Meena and Mithu.
Meena is a simple girl who lives with her family in a village. Her family has her parents, a brother, and a grandmother. She also has a pet parrot- Mithu. In one story, Meena and her brother have to share a mango. Her brother gets the bigger half of the divide, and Meena is told that is because she is a girl. She noticed the same thing during dinner time. Finally, she tells her brother to swap places with her for a day. When her brother does her work, he realizes how hard she has to work. In the end, everyone realizes that a boy’s and a girl’s work is equal to each other.
