Hey! How are you? I am doing fine on this side. I am going to tell you about a story that I read- His First Flight.
His First Flight is a story by Liam O’Flaherty. It is a tale of courage and belief. The story is about a young seagull who doesn’t have trust in its wings and is afraid to fly. It can only sit and watch as its family flies around him. Even its younger siblings learn to fly before it and fly quite fearlessly. Once as its entire family was hunting, it sat in a corner lamenting over its fear. When its entire family eats in pleasure, it can only sit there and starve. When its mother brought a fish towards it, it got excited. But his mother had other plans, she stopped a little distance from him. It jumps in frustration and catches the fish in its mouth. Finally, he realizes that all of the fear was in its mind and it can fly all it wants.
