I hope you and your family are in good health and doing well. June 5 is World Environment Day. At this time, we have to raise the importance of trees. Due to deforestation, our earth is facing many problems, like the increase in temperature, climate change, global warming, and natural disasters.
When a tree is cut down, a tree sapling should be planted. Trees have to be cut down to get the wood to make furniture, and some trees have to be cut down to get their bark, which may be useful in medicine preparation. In addition, trees are cut down to make paper. Thus, we can’t avoid situations requiring the cutting of trees.
But do we plant a tree in lieu of the trees we cut down? Trees maintain the balance of the ecosystem. Trees reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and increase the level of oxygen in the atmosphere, and they are home to many species. Let us make the choice to plant more trees.
