I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. I am also doing well on this side. I am going to tell you about the bad effects of drug abuse. I don’t think that the first effect of drug abuse is hard to guess, it is addiction. Drug addiction ruins the lives of people to the point where they can’t even recognize themselves. My elder cousin is a drug addict and is in rehab now he says that these are the most painful days of his life. Drugs can very badly influence not only your mental but also your physical health. It is known to have caused severe insomnia and headaches. Not to mention that drugs can badly affect your social life as well. Your self-respect and social standing can be completely ruined by them.
