Dear friend,
Hi! How are you? I am doing fine. Thanks for the birthday wishes in the last letter. Today, I am going to write to you about the spring season and how it is in my state, Kashmir.
Spring comes after long and dark winter months and is a season full of color and light. New flowers and trees start to grow and the world starts smelling like greenery. In Kashmir as well, after the white wonderland of snow, spring finally arrives in March and stays till May. It is a relief after the colder months. Spring season is known as Sonth in Kashmiri. The Mughal Gardens in Srinagar are also a beautiful sight in the spring months. They become filled with different colored flowers. I am going to visit the Gardens with my family this year. You should also go there if you ever visit Kashmir.
