I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. I am also doing well on this side, just a little tired from all the studies in the exams. I am going to tell you about one of the talented artists of India, SM Sultan.
You know that I have always been interested in Art History and especially when it is related to India. Recently, I learned about the talented painter and artist, SM Sultan. He is an artist of Indian origin and works to decolonize painting that removes Western influence from Indian art. His famous works have muscular Bangladeshi peasants working on their farms. At the beginning of his career, his paintings were influenced by Western culture but slowly, he started to decolonize his work. He is also given many honorable awards. I love his style of sketching and painting.
