Dear Janice,
I hope you and your loved ones are happy and doing well. Have you heard of the term “globalization?” I heard this word for the first time while reading the newspaper two days ago. Later, I came to know that we would learn about this in detail in higher classes. Globalization is defined as the process of interaction and integration among people, governments, companies, etc. on a global scale.
In a simple way, “globalization” is the word used to describe how the development of technology and business made the world more connected. There can be political globalization, economic globalization, and cultural globalization. Globalization helps people get exposed to new cultures. Globalization in business allows a company to compete in the global market.
A company can operate in more than one country. Political globalisation involves the involvement of organisations to resolve conflicts between countries. Globalization has negative effects as well, like inequality in economic growth. What are your thoughts about globalization?
