How are you? We are doing well here. Have you watched any films recently that touched you very much? I watched a Hindi film named “Thappad,” and I liked the theme and subject matter of the film very much. It was an eye-opener to me. The film was released in 2020. Thappad is a Hindi word meaning “slap.” The film is about a newlywed woman who feels that her life is going well with her husband and family, unless she faces an unexpected situation associated with her husband. The film’s subject may not satisfy everybody, and many could have criticised the film. But there will be few who have the same thoughts about the film after watching it. This is what film does. It is a reflection of society. It may not change everything instantly. But the progressive thoughts that a film talks about can slowly change society. Film will always remain one of the greatest arts.
