Dear Mekha,
I hope you and your loved ones are happy and in good health. I am writing this letter to tell you about the Deoghar yatra that my grandmother and I had recently. We went last month and came back home two days ago. Deoghar is a city in the state of Jharkhand that is considered one of the most important holy places of worship in India. The city is also referred to as the “cultural capital” of Jharkhand. There are many temples in the city. I get a feeling of positive energy and calmness while at Deoghar. There are a total of 12 temples dedicated to the Hindu god Siva, of which Baidyanath Temple is a major attraction. This temple is very old, and there are many legends associated with the temple. Deoghar is visited by people in large numbers daily. Other places of attraction include Naulakha Temple and Tapovan Caves and Hills. This journey was a wonderful experience for me.
