Dear Vishak
I hope you and your loved ones are happy and doing well. I received your letter last week, and I am happy that you have made friends in your new school. Yesterday was Children’s Day. How did the day at your school go? In my school, the most interesting part was when students took on the role of teachers. There was a small celebration of the day as well at the school auditorium. In the assembly, the principal talked to us about the importance of celebrating Nehru’s birthday as Children’s Day. One boy from high school got dressed up as Nehru Ji. All the programmes in the auditorium were done by teachers. My biology teacher, Ms. Lekshmi, surprised every one of us by singing a song in her melodious voice. Our teachers for the day were our seniors from classes 9–12. Three of the students taught us some lessons from science, literature, and history. I hope next year I will get a chance to be a student teacher.
