Subject: Letter protesting against street noises
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to draw attention towards the issue of street noises.
Street noises have always been a part of everyone’s life in Mumbai. We have experienced a variety of street noises. But now near my locality, the street noises have increased to a point that they are getting very hard to ignore. They are directly affecting the quality of our sleep and thus our entire day is ruined.
There is a constant noise of street mongers that goes on for the entire day. To add to that, there are also a lot of speakers that are being utilized by almost every business. And finally, people don’t respect the law of playing loud music during the night time. They continue to do so even though we have warned them to stop. The concerned authorities should put a check on such activities.
The columns of your newspaper will help this issue reach the concerned authorities and they will be able to help the people in my locality.
