Subject: Issue of the growing indiscipline among students
Sir/Madam,
Through an article in your newspaper, I would like to draw attention towards the issue of the growing indiscipline among students .
My father is a teacher at a good school in Delhi and recently I have noticed a very tired and defeated look in his eyes. When he returns from work, he is mostly in a bad mood. I have heard a lot of cases of indiscipline among students from him. There has been an increase in the belief that being rude and savage to their elders is considered fashionable nowadays. It is a thing to be lauded.
I see it on the internet and it baffles me. Students should be made to realize that rudeness and indiscipline doesn’t show them in a right light and will not take them places. And I especially believe that this work should start from home. Parents should be giving lessons to their children about this topic.
I hope that the columns of your newspaper will help this issue reachlight and that our teachers will get some solace from the students’ side.
