Subject: Letter to electricity department for street lights
Good afternoon sir,
I live in a housing society on Magadi Road, and I want to draw your attention to the fact that the lack of adequate street lighting in our neighborhood is causing serious issues for the locals.
While taking a stroll in the evening, we don’t feel secure and can’t safely cross the road.
Since there aren’t enough lights on the streets, it’s impossible for us to leave our doors locked and gives the burglars an edge. The majority of the population is also elderly and retired, making them particularly vulnerable to robbery.
Therefore, I politely ask that the appropriate action be taken as soon as possible to have the street lamps repaired or replaced on behalf of the colony and its people.
