I hope you and your loved ones are happy and in good health. We are doing well here. Have you heard about the Amphan cyclone in West Bengal and Odisha? This happened between the 16th and 21st of this month. It not only caused damage in India but in Bangladesh as well. This cyclone originated on the shores of Sri Lanka and became stronger as it moved towards the Bay of Bengal. West Bengal saw the most widespread damage from this cyclone. It is said that at least 80 people lost their lives, causing a huge economic loss. It rained heavily in many parts of India as an effect of the cyclone. There are also many losses in Bangladesh as well. As the meteorological department issued a warning about the cyclone, the government was able to make all the arrangements that helped reduce the loss from the cyclone. Let’s hope no such disasters come in the future.
