I am Rahul F of your class 9th B. I am writing this letter to explain the reasons for my absence on the 16th of this month. I was absent because I was vomiting and got sick. I was taken to the doctor’s clinic, and there I was diagnosed with food poisoning. I ate food from a restaurant, and that might have led to food poisoning.
I was given medicines, and doctors asked me to rest for a day. At present, I am fine and healthy, though I am continuing the medication. I kindly request that you consider this my leave letter and permit me to attend the class from today onward. I will make sure to go through all the lessons that were taught on my day of absence, clear all the doubts, and complete the notes.
