Democracy is also referred to as the rule of the people. In a democracy all the citizens of a country are the rulers. They are not ruled by an individual or a few individuals, but rather they all participate in making the important decisions.
They are the ones who decide what is right and what is wrong. They are also the ones who decide what laws have to be made and what laws do not have to be made. The best part is that the citizens do not have to accept or obey any law
