I am writing to apologize for not being able to attend the recent parent-teacher meeting. I know how important these meetings are for keeping parents informed about their child’s progress, and I regret that I was unable to be there.
Unfortunately, something unexpected came up and I was unable to make it to the meeting. I assure you that this was not intentional and that I take my role as a parent very seriously.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make up for my absence, or if there is any information from the meeting that you think I should be aware of. I would be happy to speak with you directly to discuss my child’s progress and any concerns you may have.
Thank you for your understanding and for all that you do for our children.
