3 Minute Speech on Guru Purnima in English for Students

Good Morning everyone, Today I am going to share my views on the topic “Guru purnima”.

Guru Purnima is a celebration of one’s spiritual leaders or teachers. On Guru Purnima, people pay homage to the ancient gurus and offer their respects to all their teachers and gurus. People believe that the disciples will receive the full fruits of their guru’s initiation if they worship their guru on this day.

It is said that to achieve success, you should find a good guru.

It is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. This festival is traditionally observed to honour one’s chosen spiritual teachers or leaders. It is observed on the full moon day (Purnima) in the month of Ashadha (June–July) according to the Hindu Calendar.

Guru Purnima is a celebration of wisdom, learning, and the sacred bond between a guru and a shishya. It is a day that transcends religious boundaries, uniting people in their shared respect for knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you.
