3 Minute Speech On APJ Abdul Kalam In English

Good morning one and all. Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, it is my pleasure and privilege to stand before you today. I am honored to have this opportunity to speak to such a distinguished audience.Today on this occasion, I would like to devote a few words to the man who is the epitome of dedication and wisdom, one who greatly inspirations the generations to come, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Scientist and politician Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam led India as its eleventh president from 2002 until 2007. He passed away on July 27, 2015, in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, after being born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. 

Dr. Kalam was an aerospace engineer and scientist who was instrumental in developing India’s military missile programme and civilian space programme. Because of his contributions to the advancement of Indian missile technology, he was referred to as the “Missile Man of India.” For his contributions to science and technology, he received the coveted Padma Bhushan in 1981 as well as the Padma Vibhushan in 1990.

Millions of young people all around the country found inspiration in Dr. Kalam, who was an exceptional teacher. He had a strong enthusiasm for educating the public and inspiring young people to pursue their dreams. He had a strong belief in the potential of young people to change the country. He often said, “Dream, Dream, Dream, Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action.” 

Dr. Kalam launched a number of projects during his presidency with the goal of empowering young people and enhancing India’s educational system. He started the “What Can I Give Movement,” which prompted individuals to consider what they could do to help the country and take action. He also unveiled the “Digital India” programme, which aims to make India a society that is empowered by technology.

Dr. Kalam was a wonderful human being with simple tastes. He was renowned for his modesty, sage advice, and creative thinking. People from all walks of life, all across the nation, and all over the world, adored and admired him. 

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was an exceptional scientist, a true visionary, and a source of inspiration for countless numbers of people worldwide. His contributions to society, education, and research will endure forever. Future generations will continue to draw inspiration from him and his lessons as they serve as a reminder of the value of perseverance, hard effort, and the potential of aspirations.
