Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on the importance of fitness. It’s important to stay physically and mentally fit. It is not about maintaining a healthy weight and sticking to a diet. Playing sports keeps the body in shape and healthy. This enables man to be free from all physical illnesses. A great form of entertainment and pastime is playing games. Understanding one’s own body and mind are essential to maintaining fitness. It teaches us to stay vigilant at all times in a fun way.
God gave us the gift of health. There is a proverb that goes, “Health is wealth.” One cannot enjoy life if they are not in excellent health. Body fitness is a sign of good health. Being healthy keeps us joyful, energetic, charming, and aware. A sound body also has a sound mind, aside from that. A man cannot enjoy life even if he is very wealthy and ill. He is unable to engage in his preferred activities, such as swimming, running, and climbing, at his convenience. To live his life, he is dependent on medications. However, a poor man is preferable to a wealthy man. He has restful sleep, can change his diet to sate his appetite, and is capable of carrying out any activity at any moment. He experiences no physical pain of any kind. His life and pleasure are so determined by his fitness.
Practically speaking, there are several obstacles to being fit, including lack of time for exercise, lack of facilities, work commitments, and many others. But overcoming these challenges and maintaining fitness comes first. Exercise on regular basis can help. Thank you.
