Hello everyone! I’m here today to discuss the important issue of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. If you follow the news in our country, it is clear that girls are achieving success in every field. They are achieving the greatest scores in national exams including civil service, engineering, and medical entrance exams. In sports, girls are the best and bring home Olympic medals.
Additionally, they have positions of authority such as CEO and Department Head. All of this proves that, given the chance, they will surpass even the men in development. And even knowing this, some girls are denied this chance and deemed unworthy solely based on their gender.
This unjust treatment is a persistent injustice that society has accepted for a long time. Due to the fear of dowry, girls are murdered, and sadly, if they live their life without education, safety, or security, they become worse than animals. Indian parents and society must understand that this long-held misconception that girls are solely suitable for marriage is an age-old prejudice. Since that is not the case.
In an effort to combat these false conventions, the Prime Minister of our nation has begun the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, which aims to protect and educate girls. We must be conscious that when a woman receives an education, future generations will inevitably be autonomous and well-educated as well. And the nation will advance in the right direction with more force in this way. Thank you.
