“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”
This quote was made by none other than Malala Yousafzai, the famous Pakistani female education activist. In 2014, at the mere age of 17, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Laureate. According to Wikipedia, she thus becomes “the world’s youngest Nobel Prize laureate, and the second Pakistani and the first Pashtun to receive a Nobel Prize.”
She survives a gunshot at the age of 15 by the Taliban in 2012 for voicing out her concerns on the education of women. From there, she came a long way and has authored several books.
