Earth day is an annual event that is celebrated worldwide. It is held on 22nd of April every year. It was first held in the year of 1970. Every year a different theme is given. All institutions along with all work place take active role in this program, by either conducting social works or organizing contest regarding the earth. Under which the students in schools have painting competitions, speech competitions and all sorts. The official theme for 2023 is Invest In Our Planet. Earth day is an important reminder of the interconnectedness of all living things and the urgent need to take action to protect our planet. The main goal is to remind humankind to protect and preserve the earth and its species for the benefit of future generations. One can take initiatives by creating posters or making videos and posting it on social media as social media today plays a vital role in today’s world.
