Vaisakhi, is also pronounced Baisakhi and also known as Basoa. It is a celebration of spring harvest primarily in Northern India. It is celebrated by singing and music, as well as reading scriptures out loud and chanting hymns. This festival celebrates the harvest festival as well as the creation of the Khalsa order.
