A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a small speech on the topic of the importance of mental health.
When the talk of health issues arises, everyone immediately assumes it to be an ailment or illness pertaining to the body on a physical level. Health, however, also pertains to mental health which is equally, if not more, important.
Google defines the term mental health to be “a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.” Simply put, it is a state of one’s mind.
Maintaining good mental health is very important in one’s life. Giving in to too much stress and anxiety without taking proper care of it leads to severe impacts such as depression and even suicide.
In order to maintain good mental health, one must change their lifestyle if it proves to be very strenuous on their mind. Indulging in yoga, meditation, listening to music, and reading are some ways that help.
