Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the “Importance of Communication Skills”.
Google defines communication skills to be “the ability to convey or share ideas and feelings effectively.” Communication skills are thus crucial in life, in every field in fact, be it healthy personal relationships or workplace relationships.
In a personal relationship, whether it may be friendship, a relationship with family members such as parents or siblings, or, more importantly, the relationship one shares with their partner or spouse, communication skills become very important. Without this, misunderstandings arise, leading to further complications.
In a workplace relationship again, good communication skills with one’s superiors and colleagues become important to maintain good relationships, failing which misconceptions could possibly arise, sometimes so big, it might threaten their job itself!
In order for any relationship to work, communication skills are thus the key, without which various problems are sure to arise. Use your words!
