A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘relationship’.
Google defines the term ‘relationship’ to be “the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected.”
Simply put, the way people are seen in relation to one another or other things is thus what the word happens to mean.
Broadly, relationships can be classified into 4 different categories. They are Family relationships, Friendships, Acquaintanceships and Romantic relationships. Friends and acquaintances are terms we must all be familiar with and are pretty self-explanatory in nature.
Under familial relationships, we can have people related either by blood or by married. Blood relations of course would encompass both our immediate family and those closely connected through parents, grandparents, etc.
Under romantic relationships in themselves, there are further sub-divisions such as monogamous, open, polyamorous, long-distance, casual, and so on!
No matter what the relationship is, it must be healthy, not toxic.
