A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of Ratan Tata.
It is impossible to have not heard of Ratan Tata of the Tata Group! He is a popular Indian Industrialist, known for his philanthropic deeds.
Born in 1937, he finished his studies abroad in New York, 1955, before returning to India. It was then that he joined Tata Group, which was founded by his own grandfather.
An avid reader and pilot, he has said the powerful line, “I don’t believe in taking the right decisions. I take decisions and then make them right.” He is, in fact, accredited to have won the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan in 2000 and 2008 respectively. Only in 1991 did he become the chairman of Tata Group.
I’d like to conclude with his thought-provoking quote “None can destroy iron, but its own rust can! Likewise, none can destroy a person, but his own mindset can!”
