A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘My Career’.
Google defines the term ‘career’ to be “an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person’s life and with opportunities for progress.” A career is thus more than a job, something one does for passion and not just for financial gains.
My career, in this sense, is one I want to love. It shouldn’t be a chore but a pleasure to work- something to be enjoyed throughout my life!
I believe I have attained this with my career in the field of medicine. I am a proud veterinary doctor. It gives me great joy to take care of animals!
All day, I tend to animals, taking care of their needs and curing them should they be sick. To see them hale and healthy again gives me much satisfaction.
I love my career very much and am extremely thankful for it!
